Turbo Install: Changing the Oil Pan

Changing the oil pan is the most bitchiest thing that had to be done on the engine.  If i knew how much work was involved, i would of left the oil in the car, drilled a hole and let the oil pour out with the metal shavings from the hole being drilled and just tapped the oil drain for the turbo that way.  Instead, I used the oil pan that came with the kit I purchased and spend a few days replacing it.

To replace it, we had to borrow an engine hoist from my uncle, then undo the engine mount bolts so we can lift the engine far enough so when we did unbolt the oil pan, we can remove it as it would hit the crossmember..

At least once we removed the oil pan, we could check the bottom of the motor.

After we checked the bottom of the motor, we used the oil baffle plate as the new one had surface rust. All what was left is to put the pre-drilled and hosed oil pan on the motor, Then that was done!!

We also replaced the engine mounts with the rubbers as one side had a crack in it.
